CUBIX is a leading pharmaceutical supplier in Victoria, focused on advancing drug delivery solutions. This project aimed to create a brand identity that reflects Cubix’s innovative approach, particularly in developing a pain-free, oral capsule for insulin and other protein-based medications. The brand’s visual identity needed to convey credibility, scientific rigor, and modernity.
The logo concept was inspired by the geometric simplicity of a cube. Starting with its symmetrical and balanced form, I explored how modifying the cube could introduce creativity and innovation. By removing one face of the cube, I created a unique design that maintained the formality of the shape while adding visual interest. A diagonal line through the square connects with the letter "X" in "Cubix," symbolizing movement and progress. Each letter in "Cubix" exists within the symbol, creating a cohesive, modern visual identity.
I’m grateful that this logo concept was selected at the end of Semester 2, 2023, as it resonated with the brand’s core values of trust, innovation, and excellence in the pharmaceutical sector.

This deep, rich blue conveys a sense of trust and professionalism, embodying Cubix’s commitment to reliable, scientific excellence. With its connection to the ocean’s depth, Nautical Blue also symbolizes stability, aligning with Cubix’s role as a leader in pharmaceutical collaborations.
Sky Pilot is a soft, calming blue that evokes clarity and open possibilities. Inspired by the sky, it reflects Cubix’s forward-thinking approach and balance, while adding a sense of accessibility to the brand’s scientific and medical positioning.
This sophisticated dark grey adds depth and seriousness to the palette, grounding the brand with a sense of authority. Black Tie provides contrast, enhancing the overall clarity of Cubix’s visual identity and reinforcing its position as a trusted leader in the medical field.
Brainstem Grey is a light, neutral grey that conveys simplicity and subtlety, providing a balance between formality and approachability. Its name hints at the brand’s focus on medical science, offering a foundation of reliability within the color scheme.
