Brand Identity Design / Commission
Soluna is a boutique resort set to open on the tropical island of Siquijor, Philippines. The client envisioned a brand that feels calm, dreamy, cozy, and Instagrammable—capturing the essence of a tropical escape with an elegant, modern twist. These qualities became the foundation of the visual identity.
Taking inspiration from the name itself, Sol (sun) and Luna (moon), the logo is built around a symbolic sun-moon fusion mark—reflecting harmony, cycles, and the passage of time on island life. The mark was designed to feel modern and minimalist while still carrying a warm, bohemian energy that works effortlessly across resort touchpoints like tote bags, t-shirts, signage, and menus.
The typeface Carla Sans was chosen for its minimalist elegance and soft vintage undertones—capturing both sophistication and laid-back charm. It pairs with a natural and neutral color palette inspired by island elements: golden sunset light, earthy terracotta, driftwood brown, misty green, and moonlit sand. These tones add warmth and serenity while maintaining a high-end resort feel.
Soluna’s brand identity is designed to be versatile, stylish, and timeless—ready to grow with the resort’s story as it welcomes its first guests.
